WALL GANG
Here is the latest news on the Wall Street hostage
stand off.. On Good Friday a group of CEOs from some of the
biggest firms on Wall street in order to avoid arrest on a multitude
of charges, broke through the wall of the iconic building behind
me and barricaded themselves in with a number of hostages and
a bronze bull. They have been dubbed the "Hole-In-The-Wall Gang".
They have just released their list of demands,
But first we must correct an item from yesterday. It was initially
reported that they had with them more than a billion investors
as hostages. This has been corrected: they claim to have in
their possession the accounts of more than one billion clients,
and they are threatening to gorge them on toxic assets and release
more than 20 trillion dollars worth of additional toxic assets
onto the market at large unless their demands are met.
They are demanding that their private jets be brought to Laguardia
Airport, fueled up and be manned by pilots of their choosing.
That their 2009 bonuses be released and transferred to offshore
banks according to their instructions, That a police escorted
cavalcade of their personal limousines filled with people of
their designation move slowly in front of this building, each
gang member be allowed to enter his own car: and the escorted
entourage proceed to Laguardia and the awaiting jets.
And they demand the immediate release of Bernard Madoff
